The town of Füzesgyarmat is situated in the Nagy-Sárrét region, along road no. 47,north of Szeghalom. Our town lies in the northern part of Békés county, at the border of the counties  of Hajdú-Bihar and Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok and is also easy to reach by train.

Füzesgyarmat is a very attractive tourism destination thanks to its marvellous open-air bath and the accommodation and services organized around it. Those who come to recuperate can experience the healing effect of the medicinal watwr called " Sárrét Gyöngye" (Pearl of Sárrét) in sitting pools which offer relief to those suffering from locomotor and gynaecological disorders. at the open-air bath, a hostel and a boarding- house offer accomodation in a civilized environment.

Thanks to the pools with water of different temperature and composition, the regions most beautiful bath, Füzesgyarmati Kastélypark fürdő, is a fine place too relax, have fun and recuperate. The history of the bath dates back to 1965, when thermal water with a temperature of 62⁰ C was discovered 1198m deep during drilling. The total dissolved mineral content of the water is 1,878 mg/l. The water is rich in sodium bicarbonate, but also contains bromide, iodide and a significant amount of metaboric acid.

The bath was updated to its current appearance in 2005 when the new facility with indoor swimming pools was opened.
